We are called cornerstone because in ancient times the cornerstone was the most essential element in the successful construction of a lasting building.  The cornerstone was carefully chosen for its physical strength and the truth of its corners (squareness).  This unique stone was then laid in the corner of the foundation as the key reference point for the construction of the building.  The Bible uses this ancient figure when speaking of Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone of God's household--the church.  We at Cornerstone Church acknowledge Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone to guide and direct every aspect of our church's life and development.

To present Jesus Christ as the only solid foundation of life in whom true joy and lasting fulfillment originates, and in doing so to encourage men, women and children to personally discover the delight of life in Jesus Christ.
