TLC
Bible Study Groups
TLC stands for
Tender Loving Care. TLC groups are small groups of people who get
together to build friendships and talk about how the bible can be applied in
everyday life. They discuss ways to make their family and personal
relationships stronger. They care about each other.
TLC groups are open to everyone.
Many people who attend TLC groups have no previous experience in reading or
studying the Bible. In fact, many have never attended a home group
before.
TLC
groups meet on various days and times during the week in a variety of
locations. Most are hosted in homes of families from our church.
Meeting in a home provides a warm, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere where
people can get to know one another better. The groups usually meet for
about 1-1/2 hours each week and each study session is about 12 weeks long.
The groups study different
topics. Some study directly from the Bible, some do book studies, and
some study topics that apply to today's life situations. This is a great way to get
acquainted and to grow in your walk with the Lord!

The GriefShare
Group meets on Thursday evenings.
The
Rock Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings.
"Crazy Love" - a Bible study for those in
their 20's and 30's is meeting every other Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Next meeting is
Nov. 21, 2009.
Take the Challenge: The "One Month to
Live" challenge Bible study is being held every other Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Next meeting is Nov. 10, 2009.

The Rock Youth Group
for 6th through 12th grades meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM. at the
Church. They have Bible study, fellowship and food and an occasional
outside activity, an "overnighter" and activities with other youth groups.

"GriefShare"
- Journey Through Grief
It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the
future right now. If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend,
you've probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep
hurt you feel.
That's the reason for "GriefShare", a special support
group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This group is
sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer
you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. You will be
going through this grief and recovery period with others who have experienced
losses like yours. "GriefShare" is a non-denominational study that
features Biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics.
GriefShare meets on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
in the Friendship Room. Please feel free to join us.

Attention all young people in their 20's & 30's -
